First impressions. by Deke, 28 September 2017, 3 out of 3 people found this review helpful Haven’t done many miles on them yet but they seem to do it all. The side walls are which makes them very supple resulting in comfort and speed.Have done one emergency stop already and they don’t seem to lack grip( wet road ). Pros: very easy to put on the rim. Cons: not exactly cheap.
Good but NOT winter tyres by Trustedsteed, 29 November 2017 Having read the reviews on these tyres I decided that they may a high performance Winter alternative to my standard Conti 4 Seasons tyres. I road them once and was very happy. Realy nice tyres, easy to put on and very good performance. I was very happy. My second ride (after and overnight rainfall) I punctured witin 5 kms. A tiny bit of slate had pierced right through the tyre wall leaving a pretty substantial hole. Reading the press reviews again they were all based on the press day in Italy on a wet motor racing track. So they are probably great in wet conditions on a good road surface but they are most definitely not robust enough for UK winter conditions. My one star rating is purely for that reason. I’ll get them out again in the Spring and try again. For now I’ll stick to my tried and tested Continentals. Pros: easy to put on and take off great road holding stylish Cons: puncture easily
