Very good – worthwhile purchase by Anonymous, 11 June 2013, 13 out of 14 people found this review helpful Owned this product for 12 months and about 250 hours of use in all weathers (rain sleet snow sun, -10C to +30C) its been immersed under water, covered in mud, dropped, bashed and whatever else – and its continued to work and do it’s job. I recommend it. A couple of things: very occasionally it shows a massive number, like 231, which if real would be a concern. But after a few seconds this settles back down. I can live with it. In recent weeks its started to hold on a rate for a while (too long to be real) and I wonder if this is batteries(?) I use it alongside a bike computer so all I need is my HR. The strap fits around the handlebar. A function allows you to set zones and flashes when you’re over/under. This is totally unnecessary, e.g. if you should be between 130-140 then the number will tell you if you’re over/under; having it flashing away wont make a blind bit of difference.

Was told Polar are the best so got this enrty level watch. It has realy helped me keep in the right zone when training. It also doubles up as a watch. Very pleased and have lost a stone in 4 months!
