Great brand at a great price by Novice22, 1 November 2013, 10 out of 12 people found this review helpful Bought this along with a new bottom bracket to replace a worn square taper set up. This also has a slightly bigger sprocket (50t up from 48t) All went on quickly.just had to make minor adjustments to front deraileur job done. Running smoother & quieter than ever now
Basic but functional triple chainset by ChrisJ, 10 January 2015, 3 out of 4 people found this review helpful After a few hundred miles this is early days but chainset is still working as well as when installed by Banjo Cycles in Newbury who did a good job. Quality seems fine,. Changing is quite crude and patience required for engageent of new ring. Some occasions where chain slips going down from large to middle ring which is disconcerting and disappointing but no chain derails off top or bottom yet! Cannot comment on product life obviously. Overall this is a basic triple chainset which will work fine with Shimano 8 or 9 speed freewheel cassette etc. Not as reliably smooth change as previous FSA MegaExo Omega but triples are rather rare and value for money on my commuting cyclocross bike was important. Pros: good value for money seems reasonable quality product Cons: quite crude changing
